Margaret Capodarco - Class Of 1942

Margaret M. Capodarco, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on September 30, 1924 to the late Frank and Margaret A. (Brautigan) Capodarco in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1942.

Margaret worked for Simmons Co. for a few years then as a librarian for the Kenosha Public Library for 28 and half years, retiring in 1990.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Margaret was a member of the Kenosha Historical Society, Kenosha Public Museum, Senior Citizens Council, Kenosha Bradford Alumni Assoc., and the Kenosha Camera Club.

Margaret loved photography, traveling, going to the Kenosha Kingfish games and loved her family, going out to breakfast once a month with the girls.

Margaret is survived by her sisters-in-law Rose Mary Capodarco and Dolores Capodarco both of Kenosha, her nephews Michael Capodarco of Kenosha, Mark Capodarco of Kenosha, David Capodarco of Kenosha, Paul Capodarco of Kenosha, Tom Capodarco of Bolingbrook, Il, Joe Capodarco of Kenosha and her niece Lisa Capodarco of Kenosha, and several great and great great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Edward.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:30AM at St. Mary Catholic Church (corner of 39th Ave. and 73rd St.).  Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00AM until the time of Mass.  Memorials would be appreciated to Kindred Kitties.
