04/06/2026:  Welcome to our Sneak Peek: Silent Auction web page.  As we add more items to this page, we will flag them as "New!" using the graphic at left to make it easier to spot them.  We've included a link to each donors' website or Facebook page.  Please click on the link(s) within the item descriptions below in order to view photo(s) of the donated item(s).  (Photos of gift certificates/gift cards are not available on this page.)

Alpaca Art LLC has donated a $25 gift certificate (exp. date 04/30/2028) and invites you to get in touch with your inner artist.  Choose bisqueware pieces from their inventory:  dishes & platters (microwave & dishwasher safe), household items such as picture frames and vases, figurines, banks, boxes and more.  Walk-in anytime they are open to paint; weekend reservations are recommended – please call ahead.  Use their paints, brushes and supplies to create your design.  When you're finished, leave your piece with them to be clear glazed and fired.  About one week later, your piece will be ready for pick-up.  It is now your work of art to take home and enjoy, or give as a one-of-a-kind gift!

Alpaca Art also has options for group painting events – whether it is a work party, church group event or scout meeting – pottery-painting is a great activity for all ages!  If you have under 15 painters, it is likely that they would just arrange for you to reserve a few tables during open hours. If there are more than 15 painters, they may discuss other options.  Please visit their website for more information.

Alpaca Art is open on Wednesday through Friday and Sunday from 12PM until 6PM; Saturday 11AM until 6PM; and closed Monday and Tuesday.  We scrolled through Alpaca Arts photos on Facebook this morning and were inspired by the creative designs painted by customers!

Birchwood Grill has donated a gift certificate good for a Free Pizza Party for up to (50) people (exp. date:  03/09/2027; estimated dollar value up to $200, depending upon how many people are in your party).  We love the relaxed “Northwoods eatery & bar” vibe at Birchwood, including the patio dining space (weather permitting).  Check out their Dessert Menu here – the family proudly makes homemade desserts from scratch with the finest ingredients available... “you’ll taste the difference!”

Reservations are recommended.  Birchwood Grill is open Saturday & Sunday from 8AM to 8:30PM; Tuesday through Friday from 11AM to 8:30PM; and closed on Monday.

Birchwood Grill has four rooms available for special events, which can accommodate groups from 10 to 150 people.  Contact their banquet coordinators, Stephanie or Jenny (phone:  847-812-7613 or 262-857-3455) for reservations... they will take care of the details, so you can relax and enjoy spending time with your guests.

Brat Stop, Inc. has donated a $25 gift card (no expiration date).  The Brat Stop is well known for its family friendly atmosphere, great service and world-famous food... open 365 days a year for breakfast, lunch and dinner; hours posted on their website are 8:00AM to close (full kitchen until 8:30PM).  Check out the large variety of entertainment events coming to the Brat Stop.

Next time you're out and about, be sure to visit their Cheese & Gift Shop – a good friend tells us they sell the very best German potato salad available in Kenosha.

Brat Stop's Banquet and Conference Center, The Parkway Chateau, can also accommodate weddings, parties and other special events. With elegant spaces, exquisite service and warm, welcoming atmosphere, we are here to help bring your vision to life. Our team is dedicated to making every event seamless and special, ensuring that your time at The Parkway Chateau is nothing short of extraordinary. No matter the occasion, we invite you to create lasting memories with us.

Cave of the Mounds® National Natural Landmark has donated a pass good for admission of (1) adult and (1) child (age 4-12 years), plus a coupon for (1) complimentary-size bag of gemstone mining rough (value:  $54.26; exp. date:  12/31/2027; note: free admission for children age 3 and under).

Cave of the Mounds was discovered in 1939, when a quarry blast revealed the entrance to this sparkling underground wonder.  Walking tours follow paved and lighted walkways, and the constant 50° temperature makes the cave feel cool in summer, warm in winter.  Located just 20 minutes west of Madison, the surrounding gardens explode in a dazzling array of blooms from early spring to late fall – great for family selfies!

Make a day of it and squeeze in a visit one of many nearby attractions:  Mount Horeb, House on the Rock, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, Spring Green, American Players Theatre, Mineral Point, Pendarvis State Historic Site or Wollersheim Winery.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Pleasant Prairie has donated a $25 gift certificate (gratuity not included; no expiration date).  What does it mean to “Get a lot. For not a lot.” at Cheddars?  It means loving every bite of the handmade, fall-off-the-plate food coming out of our kitchen. It means gathering with family and friends in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  But here’s the best part – it means you don’t have to empty your wallet to get the dining experience you deserve.

We love that we can go online to “waitlist” for a table for up to 6 guests at our local Cheddar’s before we even head out the door!  Cheddars is open Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 10PM and Friday & Saturday from 11AM to 11PM.

Circus World Museum, Baraboo, WI, has donated a certificate for (4) one-time admissions:  (2) adults or seniors and (2) children (ages 5-12).  Children age 4 and under are admitted at no charge (value:  $78; valid from May 15 to September 30, 2026).

Experience the amazing at Circus World!  An incredible 64 acres showcasing the incredible history of the American Circus is yours to explore.  From the world’s largest collection of restored historic circus wagons – including the legendary Ringling Bros. Bell Wagon, believed to be the last remaining circus bell wagon in existence – to seven National Historic Landmark structures that more than a century ago were the original winter quarters home to the Ringling Bros. Circus and are now filled with thousands of circus treasures.  You and your family will delight in this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind wonder.

Danny's Cafe has donated (2) $20 gift certificates (exp. date:  03/05/2027).  This all-around-favorite cafe serves up the best breakfast in Kenosha starting at 5AM weekdays and 6AM on Saturday & Sunday.  We like to try to sit in a different location each time we visit, so we can browse the humorous signs on the walls throughout the cafe.  The attentive staff, fast service and reasonable prices make dining at Danny's Cafe a pleasurable experience.

A good friend confided the Potato Pancakes served with a side of crispy bacon is her favorite breakfast.  Several of our friends rave about the Biscuits & Gravy, listed on the menu as a "customer favorite."   If we are out and about running errands, we love stopping in for a late breakfast on our own (in lieu of lunch), most often choosing an omelet with American fries or eggs with crispy bacon and pancakes.  And if the jumbo cinnamon rolls have not yet sold out, we'll bring home a couple of them as a treat "for the kids."

Dickow-Cyzak Tile Co., Kenosha area's premier source for all kinds of flooring – vinyl, carpet, hardwood and tile – has donated a $300 gift certificate (exp. date:  06/27/2027).  They specialize in bathroom and kitchen remodeling.  In 2003, they became a Carpet One® store in order to offer even more products and services to their clients.  We love their showroom gallery and the renovation process "cutaways" which detail the methods their team will use to transform your home's bath and kitchen spaces.  If you’ve been dreaming of a remodeling project for your home, visit their store today and work with one of their designers to put together options you will love.

Dickow-Cyzak Tile Co.:  family owned and operated since its beginning in 1968 – the next generation is actively involved in keeping the company’s reputation intact well into the future.  Remodeling trends may come and go, but the fine materials, expert craftsmanship and personal service they offer will never go out of style.

Dickow-Cyzak Tile Co. is open Monday through Friday from 9AM until 5PM, Saturday from 9AM until 12PM and closed on Sunday.

Michael Decker, owner of Merlin Complete Auto Care tells us his business will have a new name effective June 15, 2026:

Double Decker Auto Repair

The business has donated (3) certificates for free full service oil changes (value:  $49 each; valid through 09/30/2026).  Some restrictions apply:  extra charge for synthetic oil; most passenger vehicles; no cash value.

Double Decker (8601 75th Street, Kenosha; 262-694-1299) specializes in a wide range of automotive repairs. Call ahead to book your appointment.  The business will have a new website address (we have not provided it here, as the domain name is not yet connected to a website – we will watch for an update and share it here once the website is operational).

Experimental Aircraft Association, Inc., has donated (4) complimentary passes for admission to the EAA® Aviation Museum ($60 value; no expiration date), which is home to a collection of more than 200 historic aircraft, along with world-class galleries and displays, including the Eagle Hangar that pays tribute to military aviation and the heroes who served.  It is a year-round destination, combining the passion of aviation’s past with the promise of its exciting future.  Kids can enjoy the highly interactive area:  the KidVenture Gallery, which features 16 hands-on exhibits; a scenic overlook from Tower of Flight; and also climb into the cockpit of a half-scale model of an F-22 Raptor

EAA AirVenture, the world’s greatest aviation celebration, runs from July 20-26, 2026 and brings together aviation enthusiasts from across the world in Oshkosh, WI.  We noticed on the website that this event features free youth admission for ages 18 and under, underwritten in part by Boeing.

Launched in 1992, EAA’s Young Eagles® program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.  It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.  Today, nearly 2.5 million young people have enjoyed a free introductory flight through the Young Eagles program. These flights are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.

Festival Foods, a family-owned company headquartered in Wisconsin, has donated a $100 gift certificate (no expiration date).  Their local stores provide high quality products and an exceptional guest experience.  More than just a grocery store.  We love the Menu Ideas page on their website... especially their Skillet Meal recipes, some of which can be ready in just 20 minutes!

Festival Foods has two locations in the Kenosha area:  6000 31 Street (Somers) and 3207 80 Street (Kenosha), open daily from 6AM until 11PM.  Their extensive Wine & Spirits Department is open daily from 8AM until 9PM.

We believe in the Aveda mission of consideration for the world around us, from the products we use to the care we offer our guests, and this can be felt throughout our salon.  Hair International is open Monday through Thursday from 9AM until 9PM; Friday, 9AM until 8PM; Saturday, 8AM until 4PM; and closed on Sunday.

HOBNOB Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge has donated a $50 gift certificate (no expiration date).  Established in 1954, HOBNOB has the ambiance of a classic Wisconsin Supper Club.  They take great pride in serving the “Best Food in Town,” featuring only choice cuts of Angus Beef and the best selection of fresh seafood.  You may view their extensive menu here.  Stop in on a Friday or Saturday night to catch live entertainment in the Cocktail Lounge.  Casual attire is acceptable; reservations are always recommended.  HOBNOB is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5PM until 9PM; Friday & Saturday from 4:30PM until 10PM; Sunday from 4:30PM until 9PM; and closed on Monday.

P.S.:  We hear their signature ice cream drinks are fantastic... we recall mom having mentioned her favorite after-dinner treat at HOBNOB was a Pink Squirrel, which she often shared with dad... ah, the memories!

Infusino’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant (6800 39th Avenue) has donated a $25 gift certificate (exp. date: 06/28/2027; valid for dine-in use only).  Their website indicates "our cuisine is rooted in the Infusino’s family tradition, but also features unique pasta dishes, steak and chop options to satisfy every taste."  As we browsed their menu, we discovered a few pasta entrees we have never tried which are destined to become our new favorites.  Infusino’s Facebook page indicates they are open for dine-in Monday through Thursday from 4PM to 9PM; Friday from 4PM until 10PM; Saturday 4PM until 9:30PM and Sunday from 4PM until 8PM.  We also noticed a post from November 2025 announcing a new online order system for pick up and carry out orders.  Pick up your Infusino’s favorites with just a few taps. Fast, accurate and ready when you arrive!

Discover Infusino’s Restaurant private event venue services, where they specialize in crafting unforgettable experiences for small to medium gatherings.  From anniversaries to birthdays, baptisms, baby showers and company events, they have the expertise to make your special day truly memorable.  Their team of private dining experts are passionate about creating custom experiences that exceed your expectations, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your event.

The Italian American Society of Kenosha has donated a $25 gift certificate (no expiration date).  The “IA” is open to the public for dinner on Wednesday-Thursday from 4PM until 8PM and on Friday-Saturday from 4PM until 9PM.

The Italian American Society of Kenosha offers one of the area’s most trusted and beloved banquet venues, perfect for your next event. We host weddings, corporate gatherings, showers, anniversaries, reunions, sports banquets, funeral dinners, and community celebrations of all sizes.  Our banquet hall and ballroom provide a warm, welcoming setting, paired with exceptional Italian cuisine and attentive service.  Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large milestone event, our team ensures a seamless experience from planning through service.

A century of culture, community and connection:  the IA perpetuates these ideals through membership in the organization; there are three different membership categories:  IA Mens’ Society; IA Ladies’ Auxiliary; and Ciao Membership.  Whether you’re enjoying a pasta dinner, attending a fundraising event, or volunteering with one of our groups, the Italian American Society of Kenosha offers a true sense of belonging – and a taste of Italy right here at home.

Jockey International, Inc. has donated (4) $25 gift cards (no expiration date, no fees), which may be redeemed at any U.S. Jockey store or online.  We loved the Our History page on the Jockey website… it was fascinating reading and a bit of a local history lesson:  we’d often heard Jockey referred to as Cooper’s but never before knew why.  We’ve grown quite fond of Cooper’s Uptown, opened in 2022 in the storefront that housed the beloved Jack Andrea’s old-fashioned soda fountain/café and retailer for more than 100 years.

The Jockey Being Family Foundation, a non-profit 501c(3) organization established in 2005, helps to support and strengthen foster and adoptive families. The Foundation allocates financial resources and support to assist organizations on the front lines of the adoption process for post-adoption support.  It was heartening to read about their nation-wide efforts in support of adoptive families.

Jockey has two stores in the Kenosha area:

  • Jockey Factory Store, 5500 Sixth Avenue in downtown Kenosha, which is open from 9AM until 6PM Monday through Saturday and 10AM until 5PM on Sunday; and
  • Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets, 11601 108th Street, Suite 528, which is open from 10AM until 7PM Monday through Saturday and 11AM until 6PM on Sunday

Visit their store locator page to see the other 30 states they call home.
