In July 2023, for Kris Winzer Miller’s 50th class reunion, she and husband Larry Miller donated funds to KBHSAA to establish a Building and Construction Trades Scholarship in the amount of $1973 honoring Kris’ late father, Wilhelm Winzer, a carpenter, craftsman and immigrant from Croatia/former Yugoslavia, arriving in Kenosha in 1959. 

As no Bradford HS seniors met the criteria for the scholarship in 2024 or 2025, Kris and Larry have increased the funding to $2500 and, through KBHSAA, offered (10) $250 grants to KUSD elementary school teachers for the 2025-26 school year. 

The application deadline for the Winzer Grant Program has passed.  We will announce those selected to receive a Winzer Grant soon; please check back for an update.
