Donna M. Topel, 91, of Wauwatosa, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, July 16 2011, at the Lutheran Home with her family by her side.  The daughter of the late Thomas and Emma (Fredrikson) Bong, she was born on February 16, 1920, in Kenosha.  She attended Kenosha Schools and graduated from Kenosha High School.

Donna married Clarence Topel on April 13, 1940, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.  She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, the Christian Women of the Church and a Charter Member of St. Catherine’s Auxiliary.  Clarence preceded her in death on August 8, 1985.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Rita Bong.

Donna is survived by her son, Michael (Roxane Grahek) Topel, as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Donna will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 22, 2011, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (7117 14th Avenue), with interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home and on Friday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service.
