Joe Cundari - Class Of 1955

Joseph S. Cundari, 78, passed away July 2, 2016 at Aurora Hospital in Kenosha. Joe was born in Kenosha on October 20, 1937 to Elizabeth (nee: Principe) and Samuel E. Cundari.

After graduation from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1955, Joe pursued varied interests, playing minor league baseball in Texas, attending Fresno State College and working at his uncle’s catering/deli in Beverly Hills, California. When Joe returned to Kenosha, he worked in the family’s sheet metal and heating business. Eventually Joe moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he began a career promoting and selling commercial & residential water treatment systems.

 Joe loved golfing, target practice, and traveling to Hawaii. He is survived by his former wife and long-time companion Judy (nee: White) Cundari of Racine; sons, Kenneth (Linda) Cundari of Las Vegas and John (Debbie) Cundari of North Las Vegas; daughter Carrie (Joseph) Kopecky of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Richard L. Cundari of Las Vegas; aunt Irene (Mike) Pellegrino of Kenosha; and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his infant brother Joseph A. Cundari. A private graveside memorial for family and friends is planned for a later date.
