2018 Kenosha Bradford High School Alumni Scholarship Offerings

Bradford Alumni Association Announces ?? Scholarships Offered for 2019

Bradford seniors planning to attend a four year college or university are encouraged to apply for the Kenosha Bradford High School Alumni Association (KBHSAA) Scholarships.  Applicants are to meet general eligibility requirements for the individual scholarships unless otherwise specified.  College GPA of 2.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale is required unless otherwise specified.

How to Apply
Complete this application form and return it, along with your high school transcript including ACT/SAT score(s), to Mrs. Mars in Room 218 by (deadline date?).  The application must be typed; handwritten applications will not be considered.

Important Notes
Scholarships will be awarded at the May 2019 Senior Awards Ceremony, and the recipients will be invited to the Annual Alumni Banquet on  Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Kenosha Country Club, where we will also be honoring Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) recipients.

For all scholarships awarded, payment is made to the recipient after the 1st semester of college is completed and the specific documentation requirements (criteria and grades) are met.  Payment to the recipient generally occurs on or about January 1, 2020.

2019 Scholarship Offerings

KBHSAA, Inc. - Joseph Brittelli (1948) Memorial Scholarships [up to 3 available] - $1,500
To students preferably pursuing degrees in Education, Engineering, Medical and/or Political Science.

KBHSAA, Inc. Scholarships [2 available] - $1,500

Chester (1936) & Dorothy (1942) Woroch Memorial Scholarship - $2,500
Recipient must attend a UW School, pursuing a degree in Engineering.

Jerry Bain (1957) Memorial Academic Scholarship - $1,500

Ken Baumgartner (1957) Scholarship - Up to $5,000

Dr. Ernie Pellegrino (1957) Memorial Academic Sholarship - $1,500
Recipient must attend UW-Madison.

John (1957) & Judy (Schuetz 1960) Wavro Academic Scholarship - $1,500

John (1957) & Judy (Schuetz 1960) Wavro Athletic Scholarship  - $1,500

Bill (1957) and Barbara Serpe Scholarships [2 available] - $2,500
Recipients must attend a University of Wisconsin school, seeking an undergraduate degree in Business or Computer Science, and have a college GPA of 2.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

Peter (1959) and Alice (1960) Jackson Schwalbe Family Scholarship - $1,000
To a student preferably attending a UW school with an undergraduate degree in a medical field.

Robert C. Anderson, Ph.D. (1952) Scholarship - $1,000

The Valiere Anderson Petersen (1930) Award for Excellence in Music - $1,000    
To an outstanding student in music, preferably Piano.
