Charles George Limpert, age 81, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Charles was born in Kenosha, WI to George and Hazel Limpert. He was a graduate of The University of Wisconsin, Madison. He joined the United States Navy, and graduated from Great Lakes Navy Supply School; at the time of his discharge, Charles was a Second Lieutenant Navy Officer. He married the love of his life, Jean Mary Werwie, and they started a wonderful life together.

Charles started working for SC Johnson Manufacturing Company with a 30-year career that took him to the position of Vice President of Manufacturing. He was a two-time State Champion tennis player and became a tennis instructor for a period of time in retirement. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Acworth, GA. He enjoyed and loved spending time with his dog, Abby.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and son, Thomas Ryan Limpert. He leaves to cherish his memory:  two sons, Richard and Ryan Limpert; daughter, Kristin Moehlich; two grandchildren, Andy and Whitney Moehlich; and his sister, Joan Uhrhammer, of Walnut, CA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be sent to his son, Rick Limpert, and he will disperse to Charles’ favorite charities.
