Rose Mary Paskiewicz, age 85 of Kenosha, died on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Brookside Care Center.

Born in Kenosha on October 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Frank and Ann (Cumiskey) Fliess. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Kenosha High School. Following high school, she worked at Coopers/Jockey International and became active with the Kenosha Little Theatre.

On May 26, 1951 at St. James Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Casimir M. Paskiewicz. They were blessed with six loving children. Casimir preceded her in death on April 14, 1977.

For 25 years, Rose worked in the kitchen at Brookside Care Center, retiring as head cook. She enjoyed her co-workers so much, and they became such close friends that they often vacationed together.

She was a faithful member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Over the years she was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas, St. James and St. Casimir Parishes. Rose was a member of the Kenosha County Homemakers, St. Peter's Women's League and was a Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother at St. Casimir's Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and the challenge of crossword and word search puzzles. Nothing meant more to Rose than her family and her faith.
