Robert Haubrich - Class Of 1938

Robert "Bob" Henry Haubrich (pictured at right from the 1938 Spy), died February 28, 2011, in Doylestown, PA.  He was born in Phoenix, AZ on March 15, 1920.  He graduated from Kenosha High School, class of 1938. 

From 1942 to 1945, Bob served in the US Army during World War II in the Pacific.  He returned to Kenosha after the war and worked for Anaconda Brass Co.  Upon retiring, he and his wife, Yvette, moved to Vero Beach, FL, where they both volunteered for the Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years.  Sadly, she preceded him in death in 2008 after 54 years of marriage.  He was living in Doylestown, PA at the time of his death.

Survivors include his son, Michael of California; sister, Betty Jean of Wisconsin; four grandchildren:  Jean-Michael, Frederic, Lena and Adrien Haubrich; and 3 great-grandchildren:  Kenya, Jane and Charlotte.

Bob’s final resting place will be alongside his wife, Yvette, at Our Savior Lutheran Memorial Garden Columbarium in Vero Beach, FL.  Arrangements are by Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, Doylestown. A guestbook is available at www.reedandsteinbach.com
