Lucille Kelly (Beaupre) - Class Of 1931

Lucille A. Beaupre, 96, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Elizabeth House.  She was born May 24, 1913, in Kenosha, WI, to Jack and Catherine (Bloxdorf) Kelly.   She graduated from Kenosha High School in 1931 and married Allan Beaupre in 1941. She worked as a nurse, was a secretary at American Motors and a teller at Bank One.  She was a long-time member of the St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha and since moving to Hendersonville in 2005, a member of Pinecrest Presbyterian Church.  Lucille enjoyed bowling, golf, square dancing and bridge and was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Elder, and son-in-law, Chuck Elder, of Landrum, SC; her granddaughter, Kate Sable and her husband, Jordan; and great-grandchildren Jonah and Isaiah of Toronto, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Leon Beaupre, in 1971.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions to one of the following organizations:  St. Mary’s Lutheran Church (2001 80th St., Kenosha, WI 53143), Pinecrest Presbyterian Church (1790 Greenville Hwy., Hendersonville, NC 28792) or Four Seasons Compassion for Life (571 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731).

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
