Wyman Marx - Class Of 1929

Wyman F. Marx, age 94 (pictured at right from the 1929 Spy), most recently of New Hope, previously of Lake Helen, FL, Minneapolis, Chicago, IL, St. Paul, and Kenosha, WI.  

Preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Bernice.  Survived by his sons, Robert and Bruce, their wives, 4 grandchildren and their spouses, and 9 great-grandchildren.  

Born August 30, 1911, raised in Kenosha, WI, attended the University of MN until illness interrupted, and served proudly as a Railway Mail Clerk in the US Postal Service for 30 years.  Long-term member of the Minnehaha Masonic Lodge No. 165, the Scottish Rite, and more recently, the Robbinsdale United Church of Christ.  Remembered by family and friends as a true gentleman, highly principled, hard working on every task, and a gentle, loving soul.  

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Lake Helen Public Library, 221 N Euclid Ave, Lake Helen, FL 32744.
