Robert C. Gurney, of Fort Wayne, IN, left this mortal world on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.  A native of Kenosha, WI, he was born on January 1, 1938.  He retired in Fort Wayne after 45 years in the transportation industry.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Darlene (Ladewig) Gurney. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Mark) Powe and his sons, Kevin (Tammy) Gurney and James (Tammy) Gurney, all of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, with another one due in December.

Per his request, there will be no services or calling.
