Eugene Reich - Class Of 1948

Eugene A. Reich Sr, 85, of Deerfield, IL died April 7, 2015.  Born March 3, 1930 in Kenosha, WI, son of Johanna and Albert Reich. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his sister, Ruth (Raymond) Albright, a daughter Joanna (Matt) Rindal and a son Gene (Nova) and two grandchildren, Elsa and Chase Rindal.

His varied interests extended to wine-making, gourmet cooking, gardens of gorgeous flowers and diverse vegetables, and loving care of his antique cars which often were prize winners at the many antique car shows he attended. Eugene, "Geno", attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison earning a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He then served state side during the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force. His professional career was devoted primarily to the engineering of sound reproduction systems, TV and video systems. He was an avid skier, piloted his own planes, regularly attended air shows throughout the U.S., and enjoyed cruises and travels with his wife.

Interment Private. A memorial will be held at a later date.
