Norma Jean Hicks, 91, of Jacksonville (pictured at right from the '44 Spy) passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, in Sherwood, AR.  She was born on April 13, 1926 in Kenosha, WI to Thomas and Florence Cronin. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lavern L. Hicks and son Michael L. Hicks.

She is survived by three daughters:  Audrey Lee Heilburn and Peggy McFarland, both of Nebraska; and Lori Conrad of Iowa; two sons, Jeffrey A. Hicks of Arkansas and Thomas D. Hicks of Texas; and 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
