IN MEMORY

Roger Baum - Class Of 1948

Roger P. Baum, formerly of Kenosha, passed peacefully in Tucson, AZ, on January 22, 2016.

He was born in Kenosha, Wis., on October 26, 1930, to parents, Philip and Elizabeth Baum. He was united in marriage with Lorraine Bern on May 26, 1951, at St. George Church. They enjoyed 64 years of a beautiful marriage.

He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1948. After he graduated he joined the Navy and is a veteran of the Korean War. After five years of service he moved with Lorraine to southern California where they built their dream and family. He completed college in California, and they resided there until Roger’s retirement from a successful career at Hughes Aircraft in 1986. Roger then returned to his hometown, Kenosha. During his time back in Kenosha, Roger was an avid outdoorsman, bowler, and above all, the rock of our family. He lived in Kenosha for several years, before once more moving to the sunnier skies of Tucson, AZ, in 2002.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine of Tucson, AZ; his son Phil and his wife, Marilyn Baum, of Garden Grove, CA; and his daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) Glascock of Kenosha. He also had five grandchildren whom he loved so deeply, Joshua and Matthew Glascock of Madison, WI, Shannon Glascock of Kenosha, Brandon Baum of Huntington Beach, CA; and April Baum, the mother of our family's newest addition, great granddaughter, Daisy Baum Delgado of Garden Grove, CA.

Graveside services will be held on May 7, 2016, at St. George Cemetery in Kenosha.
