Oralyn Molinaro (Flatley) - Class Of 1940

Oralyn "Or" Flatley passed away peacefully on October 9, 2017. She was born October 23, 1921 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Oralyn was the daughter of the late Mike Molinaro and Catherine Brunner Molinaro and was the oldest of 4 daughters. She graduated from Kenosha High School in June, 1939 and married Robert "Bob" Flatley (also from Kenosha) on June 25, 1949. Oralyn, Bob and their 5 children frequently moved throughout the country finally settling in Dallas, Texas in 1968.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob (married 65 years), son Douglas and sister Joanie.  She is survived by her 4 children, their spouses, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Having had a full life, Oralyn Flatley will always be remembered for her sense of humor and love of family, friends and good food. Embodying the many great virtues often associated with being part of the "Greatest Generation", she will be dearly missed.

She was an active member of the St. Rita Catholic Community, 12521 Inwood Rd., Dallas, TX where the funeral mass will be held on Monday October 23 at 11:00 am (viewing prior at 10:00), followed by burial at Calvary Hill Cemetery.  Here is a link to the Dallas funeral home's webpage where one may view Oralyn's photo gallery
