Frank Trecroci, Sr. - Class Of 1960

Frank E. Trecroci, Sr., 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, January 12, 2017, with his loving wife at his side.  He was born in Kenosha, on September 1, 1942, the son of the late Edward and Madeline (nee: Toigo) Trecroci Sr.

Mr. Trecroci was a lifetime resident of Kenosha, and a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and the Chicago Barber College.  He proudly served his country with the U. S. Navy in Vietnam, with a tour in Saigon, and 10 years in the U.S. Naval Reserve.  On July 25, 1964 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former, Elvira Tenuta.  For over 40 years, Mr. Trecroci owned and operated the Razor's Edge Barber Shop.  He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Kenosha Jaycees, and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 437.  Mr. Trecroci enjoyed landscaping, floral arranging and playing his accordion.

Surviving are his wife of over 52 years, Elvira; their son, Frank (Irene nee: Yee) Trecroci Jr.; daughter, Dionne (David) Celebre; two grandsons who he adored:  Anthony and Andreus Trecroci; and nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents Edward and Madeline, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Trecroci Jr., mother-in-law and father-in-law Florinda and Angelo Tenuta, and brother-in-law Aldo Tenuta.  Frank will be remembered by his warm and gracious personality, his love for America, passion for good food, and spirited conversation.  Mr. Trecroci was happiest when he was seated at the head of the table watching everyone enjoying a delicious Italian dinner.

His Mass of Christian Burial, followed by military honors, will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4400 – 22nd Ave., at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 16.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.  Private burial will be in St. George Cemetery.  The family has suggested memorials to either the Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Hospital or Vitas Innovative Hospice, both located in Milwaukee., WI.
