Suzanne Thurn - Class Of 1956

Suzanne Thurn, 77, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her home.  Suzanne was born on July 2, 1938, the daughter of William and Hazel (Dicks) Thurn. She was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School in 1956 and received her English and Literature degree from Beloit College.  Suzanne worked at Brown National Bank and also for many years for the Kenosha County Department of Social Services.

Suzanne was an avid reader, loved the Chicago Cubs, the Beach Boys, Willie Nelson and enjoyed her many cruises.  She adored her special feline friend, Lady.

She will be missed by her good friend, Betty Brankow, who spoke to her daily and would discuss episodes of Jeopardy.  Suzanne was special to the Bob and Sharon Pozza family, and shared the holidays and special occasions with them.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Thurn.

Suzanne is survived by, cousins, Jack Belles of Franksville, Stephen Dicks of Franklin and Thomas Dicks of Neshkoro, WI; her niece, Elaine Hockshire of Rice Lake and her nephew, William Thurn of Marysville, WA.

Private graveside services for Suzanne will be held at a later date.
