Louise Julie Harbert, 90, of Kenosha, passed away on October 6, 2026, at Personally Yours Elder Care in Waterford, WI.

Louise was born on August 31, 1936, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Papoll) Harbert. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School, Class of 1954. She was a teacher for Kenosha Unified School District for many years. She also taught overseas. She served for many years on the Board of the Kenosha Bradford High School Alumni Association, retiring in 2013, where she was known to her fellow Board members as Julie. Her hobbies included traveling and cheering for the Green Bay Packers, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her nephews, Charles (Jay) Labedz of Kenosha, WI and Lawrence (Anna) Labedz of O'Fallon, MO as well as her nieces, Lenore (Larry) Krajewski of Bruce, WI and Carolyn (Alan) Kaufman of Frankford, DE. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Labedz.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services (8226 Sheridan Rd., Kenosha) on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:00M to 1:00PM.
