Arthur Stefani - Class Of 1949

Arthur Joseph Stefani, 86, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Froedtert South St. Catherine's Medical Center Campus.

Born in Kenosha on December 31, 1931, he was the son of the late Bertillo and Domenica (Mabellini) Stefani.  A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.  Following school, Arthur served in the US Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1954. 

On April 7, 1956, he married Jeanette Alfano.  She preceded him in death on February 11, 2004.

Arthur was employed as an accountant at American Motors until his retirement. He enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his three sons, David (Laura), Keith, and Bart (Leslie) Stefani; nine grandchildren, Annette, Ellen, Jake, Dante, Nico, April, Brad, Tyler and Zack; four great grandchildren, Daniel, Mason, Henry, and Samantha Grace; a son-in-law, Sebastian Kawka; and three siblings, Gloria Hasenberg, Mary Miller, and Albert Stefani.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Kawka on November 5, 2002; and many siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, at Proko Funeral Home from 5PM until 8PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 27, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Avenue, at 10AM.  Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery with full military honors.
