She enjoyed spending times with her friends at monthly Bridge Clubs and Sewing Club.  Joanne and Henry went on many trips exploring the world. They always enjoyed revisiting history.  She and Henry spent much time in the north woods in Three Lakes, WI.  Many Christmas vacations were spent there with her brother John and family skiing at Sheltered Valley and Brule.  They had fifty great years in the woods with the annual "Hunting" group and many seasons of Maple Syrup making with family and friends.
