Marie D. Cristiano, 100 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home.
She was born February 4, 1920, in Trimountain, MI, the daughter of the late Nello and Amelia (Raffaella) DelFrate and came to Kenosha in 1923. On October 13, 1945, she married John Cristiano at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kenosha, and he preceded her in death January 16, 1980.
Marie was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church for many years, where she served in the Women's Club and Mission Ladies. She was also a member of the Italian American Club Auxiliary, the Catholic Women's Club, and the Monday Club of Bain School.
Survivors include her children, Lucille (Erwin) Garris, Nello (Donna) Cristiano, Anita Gasser, Carmella (Gerald) Chapman, and John L. (Ruth) Cristiano; siblings, Olga Randall, Jean DelFrate, Ronald (Rose) DelFrate and Richard DelFrate; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and entombment in All Saints Mausoleum, Pleasant Prairie, WI were private. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Kenosha Achievement Center.
