Jen Nosalik - Class Of 1937

Jen F. Nosalik, 90, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab.

She was born on May 21, 1919 to the late Joseph and Josephine (Zdanka) Nosalik.  She was educated in the Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

On May 25, 1944 Jen entered the Women’s Army Air Corp and was a Cpl.  She was honorably discharged on December 21, 1945.  She received the Good Conduct Medal, the WW II Victory Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the American Campaign Medal.

Jen worked as an analyst for the US Navy for many years.  She loved to travel and worked for the Navy in many states.

Jen is survived by her nephews Joseph B. (Susan) Nosalik of Kenosha and Kenneth (Pat) Blank of TX, and her nieces Sandra (Sam) Carney of Belton, TX and Nancy Loyfe of FL.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Francis Holm and Stella Blank and a brother Bernhardt Nosalik.

Private Funeral Services were held with inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.  Memorials would be appreciated to the charity of one’s choice in Jen’s memory.
