Barbara Herzog (Skovronski) - Class Of 1934

Barbara J. Skovronski, 99, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at St. Joseph's Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Kenosha on May 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grayce (Stewart) Herzog.  She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1934.

On January 25, 1943, she married Louis Kadwit in Des Moines, Iowa.  He preceded her in death when he was killed in action on October 21, 1944.  Then in June of 1952, she married Stanley Skovronski in Kenosha.  He preceded her in death on November 24, 1996.

Barbara worked at Kenosha Hosiery, Dynamatic (Eaton Corp.), Kenosha Achievement Center and Famco.  She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and the Mary Martha Guild.

She is survived by her daughter, Cleta Skovronski of Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Herzog.

Barbara's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Home for all of the care that they gave her.

Graveside services were private at Green Ridge Cemetery.
