Domicella Lukauskas (Patasius) - Class Of 1925

Domicella M. Patasius, 98, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged.

Born in Ansonia, CT, on July 31, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marcella Lukauskas.  She and her family came to Kenosha in 1914, and she attended St. Peter's Catholic School and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1925.

In 1946, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, she married John Patasius.  He preceded her in death in 1981.  In the 1930's and 1940's, she was employed by McWhyte Wire Rope Co.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and St. Peter's Women's League. Domicella enjoyed gardening, canning, church activities and reading.

She is survived by her son, John Patasius, Jr. of Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30AM, followed by Mass to be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 10:AM and entombment at All Saints Mausoleum.  Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 7:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter's Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
