Norman A. Cechin - Class Of 1957

On March 11, 2010, Norman August Cechin , 70, of Havelock, NC, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Effortlessly, Norm touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Norm is survived by his wife, Jennifer; four daughters, Lynn Robitaille (Joseph) of Sheboygan, WI; Karen Carbone of Raymond, NH; Betsy Malik (Jamil) of San Antonio, TX; Jessica Grether of Denver, CO and son, Jake Grether of Tampa, FL; and his six grandchildren Renee and Mark Robitaille, Emily Rose and Benjamin Malik, and Madelene and Sydney Grether.
