Bonny Lee Cahill - Class Of 1940

Bonny Lee Cahill, age 92, formerly of Kenosha, late of Chisago City, MN, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Parmly LifePointes Assisted Living in Chisago.

Bonny was born on January 12, 1922 to the late Emil J. and Jane (Jackson) Larsen in Kenosha, WI.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1940.

In 1947, Bonny married John A. Cahill at St. Matthew Church in Kenosha. She was employed as an office manager in the medical field and was also employed by American Brass and US Standard Products.  After living in Michigan and Ohio, in 1960 she moved to West Allis, returning to Kenosha in 1986.  She was a diehard lifelong Cubs fan.  She was also very involved in local republican politics, ARK Club, St. Matthew’s altar guild and Stephen Ministry.

Bonny is survived by her son Charles A. (Clare) Cahill of Golden Valley, MN, daughter Nancy (Jim) McGee of Appleton, WI and son-in-law David C. (Carol) Wilkie of St. Paul, MN.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren:  Nicholas C. (Jackie) Wilkie; John, Dan and Colin Cahill; Elle, Coco and Reven McGee; Emily and Lydia Wilkie; and one sister, Gail L. Casey of Kenosha and several nieces and nephews.

Bonny was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, daughter Susan Wilkie, son Peter David in infancy and sister Betty Jane Bok.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Matthew Episcopal Church (5900 7th Avenue, Kenosha).  Visitation with the family will be on Thursday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service.  Entombment will follow at Greenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the church would be appreciated.
