Lawrence “Larry” W. Kopesky of Lihue, Kauai, HI, formerly of Poipu, passed away on January 7, 2015, at the age of 78. Born on December 31, 1936, in Kenosha, WI, he was a retired finance manager for Ohana Motors.

Preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Kopesky; brothers, John and Juke; sisters, Mary, Elaine and Ann.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kopesky, Lihue; son, Lawrence “Larry” (Janell) Kopesky Jr., Wainiha; daughters, Lori Kopesky, Lihue, Kelly Mazzarella, Florida; brother, Joseph (Winnie) Kopesky, Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on January 16, 2015, at Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church, Koloa.
