Robert G. Colby (pictured at right from the 1953 Spy), of Sarasota, FL, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on June 30, 2013.  Born on May 3, 1935 in Kenosha WI, Bob served in the US Air Force and lived the past 37 years in Florida.  Bob was a devoted family man and an avid golfer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, noted artist Ruth Höök Colby; children: Cynthia Bartos, Jeffrey Colby and Caryn Young; son-in-law, Ron Bartos and daughter-in-law, Sue Colby; grandchildren: Katya Young, Erin Colby and Christian Colby, as well as nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at 11:30am on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Highway 72, Sarasota, FL, 34231.
