Milton C. Detert - Class Of 1936

Milton C. Detert, 99 (pictured at right from the 1936 Spy), of Venice, FL, passed away on January 13,  2018.  He was born on March 12, 1918.  He graduated from Kenosha High School in 1936.  He joined the US Army, serving his country during World War II.  He was a lifetime member of the Bradford Alumni Association.   His neighbors remember Milton’s wonderful nature and were happy beneficiaries of his many carpentry and fix-it talents.  His daughter, Cyndi, writes that he “always enjoyed reading the Alumni Association Newsletter.”

Survivors include his daughters, Cyndi L. (Jim) Cefalu of Venice, FL and Randi S. (Gene) Baltz of Three Lakes, WI; son-in-law Joe Donkin of Elizabeth, PA; grandchildren, Kim (Joe), Kari (JR), and Jim (Stacy); and great grandchildren Lexi, Charlie, Ryne, and Chase.

Milton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Astrid, and daughter Pat Donkin.
