Lt. Cmdr. James E. Ivy, U.S.N. (Ret.) of Centennial, CO passed away at the age of 83 on October 1, 2007 in Littleton. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota.  He was preceded in death by his wife "Artie."   He was a retiree of the Denver Public Library and a member of American Legion Post #0211.  He is survived by sons James (Adriana) Ivy and John Ivy, both of the Littleton area and grandchildren James and Jenny.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 4, 2007; graveside service was held on Friday, October 5 at Fort Logan National Cemetery staging area "A".

Jim was the best father and grandfather a family could have.
