Paul L. Metallo, 46, of Tucson, AZ, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2007, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Kenosha on August 9, 1961, he was the son of Frank S. and Jessie (Chiappetta) Metallo. He received his education in the schools of Kenosha and received a degree in marketing from Gateway Technical College. Paul moved to Tucson Arizona at the age of 21.
He was a real estate investor in Arizona for many years.
Paul was a very generous, caring, and fiercely loyal man who would go through hell and high water to make someone's life easier. He was a true free spirit, with a high zest for life, who believed in living life to its fullest.
A life member of the Harley-Davidson Club, his hobbies included collecting watches, antique clocks and guns. His true passion was Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Paul will be sadly missed by all those who loved him.
Paul is survived by his mother, Jessie Metallo of Kenosha; a brother, Alfred Metallo of Oklahoma City, OK; and a sister, Phyllis Metallo of Kenosha. Paul is also survived by his best friends, Jeff and Joyce Reed; and his other Arizona friends, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Carlin, Harvey & Faith Garrett, Lynn Garrett, Yvonne "Genie" Gutierrez, Steve Minton, Chris Nero, Vince Peters, Julie Reed, Steve Roller, Mr. & Mrs. Art Sisneros, Dino & Melissa Sisneros, Art, Bridget, Tim, Tuesday and many others; and also his beloved dog, Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank S. Metallo.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 29, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00AM, with interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.
