John M. Huber - Class Of 1957

John Matt Huber, Sr., 73, of Glendale, AZ, formerly of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, at Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale.  Born in Evanston, Ill., on November 27, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph and Norma (Campbell) Huber. He has resided in Arizona for the past 34 years.

John served in the United State Marine Corps.  On October 20, 1960, he married Josephine Torcaso. She preceded him death January of 1998.

John was the owner/operator of J.M. Huber & Associates until his retirement.

An avid member of Grace Lutheran Church in Glendale, AZ, he was a former member of Friedens Lutheran Church. He was a member of The Elks Club, Lions Club and Rotary Club in Glendale, AZ. 

John is survived by his two loving children, Mary Rose (Kurt) Kennedy of Green Bay, WI, and John Huber, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Tom (Kristen) Kosman, Jim (Tiffany) Kosman, Jade, Amber, Anthony and Kaitlyn Huber; two great grandchildren, Carson and Brody; three sisters, Elaine (Fred) Lienemann of Hot Springs, AR, Connie (Mike) Cope of Silver Lake, WI, and Diana (James) Costigan of Oconomowoc, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Frances Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, at 10:00AM at Friedens Lutheran Church (5038 19th Avenue, Kenosha).  Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Proko Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of the services at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church.
