Elaine married Norman Jacobson on April 14, 1945.  She moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1962 with her family.  She retired from El Rancho markets main office in 1982.

In 1991, Elaine married Donald Denver. The two of them enjoyed the last 18 years together dancing, gambling and spending summers in Pinetop, Arizona. They formed wonderful friendships up north. She enjoyed walking the lake, visiting friends, and playing rummikub with the girls at the clubhouse. Besides these activities, she loved watching the Cubs, Diamondbacks and all her grandchildren's sporting events. She enjoyed shopping and was delighted to go to the mall with her daughters for lunch and people watching. She was the greatest Mom and friend, always caring, calling and making sure everyone was doing well.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Norman Jacobson and son Terry Jacobson.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters:  Janice Cushing and her family and Marilyn Beard and her family; loving husband Donald Denver, and many other extended family and friends.

A memorial service was held on October 4, 2010 at Dove of the Desert Methodist Church.
