Robert E. "Chip" Mitchell Jr. of Kenosha, Wis., went home to be with the Lord and His Savior Jesus Christ on November 16, 2016, at the age of 74.

Chip was born November 14, 1942, in Dayton OH, then moved to Kenosha during his high school years.  He graduated from Bradford High School in 1961 and placed 2nd in state finals for wrestling.  He also is named in the hall of fame for wrestling at St. Joseph High School.  Chip married Sandy Kyrk in 1986 in Zion, IL.  They own and operate Face Card Promotions in Kenosha.

He loved the Lord and was a faithful Gideon while serving at the Kenosha Camp, where he was active in various positions.  His favorite activity was handing out Gideon Bibles along with his million dollar bills that he used as a way to witness to others and someone could call for a free Bible.  He was passionate about other people coming to know the grace of salvation for their lives.

His other passions were his business, reading, and being a die-hard Packer Fan. He always had a smile for everyone and put humor in everything he did.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy; children, Jeffrey Mitchell, Robert "Rob" (Pamela) Mitchell, Jennifer (Bill) Adams, Karianne Mitchell, Kyrsten (Daniel) Hitzeman, Amanda Mitchell and step daughter, Patricia (Scott) Leick; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan), Kayla (Shane), Carli, Reid, Anthony, Aiden, Aidia, Amber, Dakota, Bronce, Cole, Elliot and Alec; siblings, Arlene (Donald) Hall and Kathleen Pfeiffer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
