Nellie Aceto (Williams) - Class Of 1944

Natalie “Nellie” Williams, 90, of Kenosha, died peacefully on October 15, 2014, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, after a brief illness.

Born on December 24, 1923, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmela Aceto.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School Class of 1944.
Nellie married Robert E. Williams on August 10, 1946, in Detroit, MI.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church until its closing and then joined St. Mary Catholic Church.

Nellie worked for many years as a service representative for Republic Savings and Loan (TCF Bank).  After leaving the bank she worked for another 10 years at Carthage College in the registrar’s office until her retirement.

Nellie volunteered for over 20 years at United Hospital System-Kenosha and Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie.

Nellie is survived by her three children, Elaine Williams, Robert J. (Joni Loveless) Williams and Brian (Carol) Williams, all of Kenosha; a grandson, Robert (Katy) Williams of Fort Collins, CO; and two great-grandchildren, Suzy and Leopold Williams, both of Fort Collins, CO.  She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Radtke of Kenosha; a brother, Albert Aceto of Kenosha; and also sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as nieces and nephews.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at St.  Mary Catholic Church (7307 40th Avenue) at 10:30AM.  Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass.
