After retiring, she filled her life with volunteering, grandchildren, art, travel, and a passion for learning. Most importantly, Betty enjoyed life. She had a good life.
Betty is survived by her brother, Carl Remstad of Boulder, CO; her former husband, Richard Holmes of Boulder, CO; three daughters, Kristi Holmes of Flower Mound, TX, Laura Pearson of Carbondale, CO, and Joyce Guertin of Denver, CO; four granddaughters and one great grandson.
