In 1942, she moved to California and worked as a draft person for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach for 10 years.  She later worked in advertising and interior design in Los Angeles.  In 1946, she married Kenneth DuBois, who preceded her in death.  She moved to Grants Pass in 1973.  She was a member of the Grants Pass Museum of Art, Rogue Gallery in Medford and the Watercolor Society of Oregon.  She also was a contributing member of the Portland Art Museum Rental Gallery for 21 years.
