Jeanette Mazur (Dau) - Class Of 1935

Jeanette (Mazur) Dau passed away on February 24, 2020… she was closing in 103 years of age.  She was born in Kenosha on April 27, 1917 and attended local schools, graduating from Bradford High School in 1935.

On January 3, 1942, Jeanette married the love of her life, Harvey L. Dau.  Sadley, he passed away in October 1979.

Before retiring, the former St. Catherine’s Commons resident worked 33 years at Jockey International.

She visited Japan, Turkey, the Holy Land, Egypt, Russia and had journeyed to Europe 10 times.  She enjoyed car shows, belonged to a quilters club and was thankful to the Lord for all her blessings.  She will be remembered for her delightful sense of humor.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane Dau-Koos and Robert Koos, of Kenosha.

Per Jeanette's wishes, no services will be held... "after all, what good is a party if you can't be there?"
