Jeanne Scoville (Hungate) - Class Of 1948

Jeanne Marjorie Hungate, 77, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died January 1, 2007 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1929, in Kenosha.

Mrs. Hungate was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed listening to Christian speakers and music, especially the Gaither Family Singers. She also enjoyed crafting and needlework.

She is survived by her sons:  Philip Herechski, of Stockton, CA; Alan Herechski of Manteca, CA; Eric Herechski of Lockeford, CA; and Robert Hungate II of Stockton; her daughters, Valerie Woodward of Stockton and Tamara Crawford, of Modesto, CA; brothers:  Dale Scoville of Minnesota, Gary Joseph Scoville and Robert Scoville, both of California; sister, Allyn Geary, of Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Phil "Pop" Herechski; second husband, Robert C. Hungate; grandson, Travis J. Woodward; and sister, Helen Balmer.

A memorial service was held on January 6, 2007 in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park.
