Margaret Sorensen (Zaylor) - Class Of 1930

Margaret "Peg" Zaylor, 103, died April 21, 2014, at the Pomerado Medical Center in Poway, CA from pneumonia.

She was born April 19, 1911, in Kenosha, WI and lived there until 1957, when she moved with her husband and children to California, first residing in Encino and later in San Juan Capistrano and Escondido.  She was a wonderful mother and an inspiration to her family and friends.  Her passion was golf, played until age 95 for the game, exercise and camaraderie.

Peg is survived by three siblings:  her brother Clarence Bernard Sorensen of Lady Lake, FL; her brother,  Kenneth Donald Sorensen, and her sister,  Carolyn Frederick, both of Kenosha, WI; by daughters, Nancy Jean Graham of Bealton, VA, Margaret Ann Petrucci of Murrieta, CA, and son John Richard Zaylor of Manhattan Beach, CA, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  The memorial service was private.
