Walter Randell Roemer, 91 (pictured at right from the 1944 Spy), passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018.  He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the US Army after 26 years of dedicated service to his country.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Doris G. Roemer, and a daughter, Laurie Roemer.  He is survived by his sons, David (Cindy) of Charleston, SC, and Keith (Gina) of Mexico; his daughter, Kim Roemer of Yorktown; a sister, Maxine Hall; and 4 grandchildren:  Jeffrey, Laura, Hunter and Sarah.

Private services are being handled by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
