A "gap year" after graduation then off to Marquette University Journalism School but fell into the University Players, the school theatre group and wound up with a degree in speech (drama) then off to drama school in London with my new wife, returning to New York City with her and our first born in 1964. Began an acting career in and around New York City - Broadway, off-Broadway, regional theatre, Shakespeare Festivals, TV Soap Operas, etc. To Los Angeles in 1976 where in 1981 my beloved wife, Catherine succumbed to cancer. Had a long career acting in and directing TV series - "Trapper John, MD" & "Xena, Warrior Princess" among the better known shows. Married Kristine in 1986 and in 1992 we re-located to Healdsburg, CA in Sonoma County wine country where we still happily reside.
