Jerry Leslie Woodbury, 85, of Kenosha, WI, Northbrook, IL and Walnut Creek, CA, went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2023.  Jerry was born on December 28, 1937, to Elbert and Julia Woodbury, in Kenosha.

Jerry was the beloved husband (42 years) of Rita (Sevick) until her passing in 2003, and is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Jewel Woodbury.  Jerry and Rita had five children, and he was the loving father to Debbie Ross, Mark (Alana), Suzanne Lara (Manny), Bruce (Dominica) and Julie Andrews (Tony); proud grandfather, and papa to David, Alex, Evan, Avery, Jacob, McKenna, Morgan, and Amanda; great grandfather to Andrew; dear brother of Jim (Jo), Thomas (Til), Joanne (Pat) and Richard (Janet).

After graduating from Bradford High School in Kenosha in 1955, he went on to get a BS and Master’s degree in geology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He then started his almost 30-year career with Buehler Ltd. before moving to California, where he was the owner and president of CPN, Intl., in Martinez, CA until he retired.

Jerry was an avid golfer who loved spending his time on the golf course and also had fun sailing on the San Francisco Bay often.  He enjoyed leading Boy Scout troops for many years.  His hobby was owning and restoring vintage, classic cars such as Mercedes and the Model A.  He was an independent, hard worker, who put his all into everything he did, big or small.  He was a devoted husband, and he deeply loved his family.  He spent valuable time with each one of his children, teaching them, and having fun together.  He was known for his integrity, kindness, wonderful sense of humor, and ability to make others smile and laugh.

His love, smile and jokes will be missed by all of those who have been so lucky to know and love him, and an incredible legacy has been left by him.
