We're excited to report our first donation for this year's Silent Auction arrived via email today, 03/13/2022, just a couple days after we entered a few online donation requests!  We hope you'll check back for updates over the next few months or, if you' are a KBHSAA member, you can set your profile to "Notify Me" when this page (or any other page on this website) is updated.  If you're a Bradford grad and not yet a member, we hope you might consider joining KBHSAA today.

Beaver Springs, Wisconsin Dells has donated a gift certificate [value $85; exp. date: 10/31/2022] which includes the following:

♦  $25 Fishing Park gift certificate good for bait, tackle rental, registration, fish purchases and all fish-related services; and
♦  Family admission (2 adults & 2 children) to the Dells Wildlife Museum & Aquarium.

Casa Capri has donated (2) $25 gift certificates [no expiration date!].  We’re a family-owned restaurant with 67 years of experience, providing exceptional dining services for the residents of Kenosha, WI since 1954.  We’ve won local awards for our delicious food and personalized services.  Visit our restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a warm family atmosphere!  

Cave of the Mounds® National Natural Landmark, located in Blue Mounds, WI has donated a Pass good for admission for (1) regular admission (adult) and (1) child (age 4-12 years; ), plus (1) free mining bag [exp. date:  12/31/2023; note: free admission for children age 3 and under].  Cave of the Mounds was discovered in 1939, when a quarry blast revealed the entrance to this sparkling underground wonder.  Walking tours follow paved and lighted walkways, and the constant 50º temperature makes the cave feel cool in summer, warm in winter.  Located just 20 minutes west of Madison, the surrounding gardens explode in a dazzling array of blooms from early spring to late fall, providing great photo opportunities with your family.  Make a day of it and visit one of many nearby attractions posted on the COTM website. 

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Pleasant Prairie has donated a $10 gift certificate, which notes alcohol & gratuity not included. 

Cinemark's Tinseltown, Kenosha, has donated (2) Guess Passes, which may be exchanged at any Cinemark® Theatre box office for ONE FREE admission.  Not valid for pass restricted movies.  Additional premium applies for XD, 3D, D-BOX, IMAX Attractions and any other specially-priced events.  Pass is nonrefundable and has no cash value.  We noticed several movies on the Coming Soon list we'd love to catch this summer!

Circus World Museum, Baraboo has donated a certificate for (4) one-time admissions to Circus World [for 2 adults & 2 children, a $68 value; valid from late May through late August 2022]... featuring a joyous Pirate-themed Circus with elephants, unicycles, bungee trapeze, the Puppy Pals, clowning legend Mr. Bill, aerial net, ponies, flying trapeze and motorcycle thrills over the Baraboo River!  Your admission includes all shows, the world's largest circus wagon collection, guided tours and 7 buildings of colorful exhibits. 

Corner Bakery Cafe, Pleasant Prairie, has promised a gift basket which will include some of its signature baked goods and (3) $5 gift cards; we will pick up the basket the day of the auction.  Those gift cards will be handy to use for a coffee to go in one of their hand-roasted varieties:  Baker's Blend, Café Europa, Hazelnut or Sumatra Decaf! 

Cost Cutters Hair Salon has donated (2) free haircut coupons [value $18.95 each; exp. date: 04/30/2023], good only at the following locations:  Kenosha, Racine, Burlington; and Zion, IL. 

County of Kenosha, Division of Golf has donated (2) sets of prepaid coupons for a twosome of weekday walking rounds of golf [exp. date:  11/16/2023] at Brightondale Links (a $55 value) and Petrifying Springs Golf Course (a $53 value)... so polish up your clubs, schedule time off from the work-a-day world and get ready to enjoy a couple days on the most beautiful public golf courses in Kenosha County!  You deserve this!

Dairy Queen 22nd Avenue, Kenosha has donated a $25 gift card, redeemable at its store location only.  You could take the kids out for a special treat or maybe order one of their delectable DQ® Blizzard® cakes...  or better yet, stop by after a particularly long, hard day at the office for a very much deserved special treat!

Danny's Cafe has donated (2) $10 gift certificates (exp. date:  05/22/2023)... this all-around-favorite "diner" serves up the best breakfast in Kenosha starting at 5AM weekdays, 5:30 on Saturday and 6AM on Sunday.  Our good friend, Lee, says the Potato Pancake served with a side of bacon is her breakfast favorite, while her friend, Arlene, highly recommends the Buttermilk Pancakes.  We think you can't go wrong by ordering an Omelet – our favorite is Ham & Swiss with a side of "crispy" American Fries.  And don't get us started talking about the Biscuits & Gravy, listed on the menu as a "customer favorite" – they are scrumptious!  If you don't have time to dine in, all of their menu items are available to go.   

Joe Passarelli '89 and DeRango's have donated (2) $20 Gift Certificates good for Dine-In Only, along with a 750ml bottle of Smirnoff Peach Lemonade Vodka.  Visit DeRango's today to enjoy your favorite:  pizza, Italian specialties, homestyle dishes, a wide range of pasta, delicious sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts! 

Dan & Kathy (Kammerzelt) Vaccaro, both Class of '69have donated a certificate redeemable for (1) Pool Party for 10 people at their local small business, Diver Dan's Scuba & Aquatic Center, Kenosha [valued at $185; exp. date:  12/31/2022].  Options for your party:  Pool Splash Party (any age) or Scuba Splash Party (minimum age 8 years old)... a fun and educational group event designed for birthday parties, church groups, scouts, etc.  While browsing their website, we noticed Diver Dan's also does scuba diving adventures to exotic locales; group travel destinations for 2023 include Turks & Caicos in January and Belize in April... these sound like lovely places to visit in the depths of a Wisconsin winter, whether you're a diver or non-diver!  Visit their website for more information.

Experimental Aircraft Association has donated (4) passes to the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, WI [valued at $50].  The Aviation Museum houses a collection of more than 200 historic aircraft, along with world-class galleries and displays, including the Eagle Hangar that pays tribute to military aviation and the heroes who served.  It is a year-round destination, combining the passion of aviation's past with the promise of its exciting future.  

Finney's Lounge has donated "basket" [estimated value $85] filled with the following:
  A Miller Lite® Brewers-themed metal ice bucket;
  A $20 gift certificate [no expiration date!];
  A bottle of Jack Daniel's Original Recipe Tennessee Green Apple (750 ml); and
  A pair of Jack Daniel's rocks glasses (see photo here).
Next time you're in town, we should drop in there for a burger or their famous wings, have a beer and talk about the old days! 

Frankie D's Vino & Pizzeria has donated a $25 gift card [no expiration date!] – check out Frankie D's extensive menu... from a vast array of appetizers, homemade soups and wonderful fresh salads, a wide assortment of sandwiches, fish fry (perch or beer battered cod) and broasted chicken with mojos, to classic Italian pasta recipes (handed down through the family) and pizza (from Chicago Style pan, to hand tossed or thin crust)... what's your favorite?  Frankie D's has it!  

Guttormsen Recreation Center has donated a $35 gift card... their banquet facility was recently renovated, and it's a great place to gather for a bowling league, birthday party or any other special occasion.  The Strike Zone menu boasts homemade pizzas, chicken wings and lots of popular snacks, as well as a fully stocked bar.  Do you remember Cosmic Bowling?  GRC hosts it every Friday and Saturday night from 9:30PM to midnight.  As the GRC website says... this isn't your grandma's bowling alley!  

Adela '74 and Steve Hessefort have donated a Picnic Beer Caddy [valued at $65]... it would be great for an impromptu picnic with your sweetheart (or maybe for tailgating at a Brewer game); included are the following:
♦  (6) assorted beers packed in a rustic wooden caddy, with bottle opener mounted on the side;
♦  A stadium throw; and
  A snack basket:  Pine River Cheese Spread, CäPEACHIO peppercorn & poppy water crackers, summer sausage (sorry, we can't tell from the photo what brand), along with a small cutting board; and a few Lindt LINDOR® Truffles.

The HOBNOB has donated a $25 gift certificate (no expiration date!).  Established in 1954, the HOBNOB has the ambiance of a classic Wisconsin Supper Club.  They take great pride in serving the “Best Food in Town,” featuring only choice cuts of Angus Beef and the best selection of fresh seafood.  Stop in on a Friday or Saturday night to catch live entertainment in the Cocktail Lounge.  Casual attire is acceptable; reservations recommended.  We hear their signature ice cream drinks are fantastic!

The Italian-American Society of Kenosha has donated a $25 gift certificate (no expiration date!)... you may view their extensive menu here.  A close friend tells us the salad served with dinners is always so wonderfully fresh; her favorite menu pick is the gnocchi.  She also likes the beer-battered cod – available only on Fridays – with a side of spaghetti... gotta have the pasta!  The IA is open to the public for dinner at 4:00PM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  

Kenosha Country Club has donated a certificate redeemable for a One-Year Dining Membership at Kenosha Country Club.  Must be redeemed no later than March 31, 2023; membership valid through March 31, 2024.  Executive Dining Membership includes:
♦  Unlimited member dining in the Grille Room
♦  Use of our private rooms with no room rental fee
♦  Access to special dining events in the Clubhouse
♦  Reciprocal dining privileges at other area clubs
♦  No Food or Beverage Minimum while using this certificate
Member would be responsible for food and beverages charges, as well as any other incidental charges posted to their account.

Kenosha Kingfish Baseball Club has donated a certificate for (4) Founder's Club tickets for the 2022 season, which include a wristband for all-you-can-eat ballpark food through the 5th Inning, soda and water, plus (3) tabs good for beer, ice cream or Kids' Zone games; PLUS a certificate for (1) Ceremonial First Pitch for a regular season game in 2022 (you must have a ticket for the game).  The Kingfish offer such great entertainment at each home game, plus lots of fun activities for the kids!

Janet Kortright has donated a Scentsy® gift basket ($35 value), containing:
♦  A Love warmer (pictured at right);
♦  (2) bars in the following scents:  Pink Sugarberry Mint and Sunburst Bamboo; and
♦  A couple of product samples. 
This would be a really nice addition to your college-bound student’s dorm room!

Kwik Trip, headquartered in LaCrosse, WI, has donated (2) $100 Gas & Gift Cards.  Kwik Trip is the place to stop, whether you're topping off your gas tank, picking up freshly made fare for a "Kwik" dinner when you don't have time to cook or simply grabbing a gallon of milk and some fresh produce. Your neighborhood Kwik Trip's helpful staff always greet customers with a smile and when you check out, a cheery "see you next time."   

Martin's Garage/CDJR, Union Grove, has donated a free engine oil and filter change, good for all makes, with up to 6 quarts of conventional oil.  Martin's, a family-owned company, just celebrated its 92nd anniversary in business on April 1, 2022.  It is well known in the community for its tradition of excellent customer service.  

Menard's Inc. has donated a gift bundle that includes the following items; dollar value and photos pending: 
♦  An insulated green & black Menard's logo lunch bag with a handy padded shoulder strap;
♦  A die-cast metal Menard's logo toy utility truck; and
♦  A (4) piece set of coasters that would be perfect for use on your patio table or your wooden picnic table.

Milwaukee Admirals have donated (4) vouchers [exp. date: 12/31/2022; dollar value  up to $60], valid for Sunday through Thursday home games in Tier 6 seats; from our reading, the game dates that fall into that category are scheduled for 11/10, 11/24, 12/01 and 12/30.  Alternatively, the vouchers may be used for $10 off any Tier 4 – 5 – 6 seats for a Friday or Saturday home game.  Home games are played at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.  

Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park, Wisconsin Dells, has donated (4) 2022 All Day Water & Theme Park Tickets, valid from May 28 through September 5, 2022, and (4) Admissions to TOP SECRET, valid until December 31, 2022... are you and your family ready for some summer time fun?

Nothing Bundt Cakes, Pleasant Prairie has promised donation of a Bundtlet Tower -- we'll pick it up freshly baked the morning of the auction -- along with an item from the Coton Colors retail line carried in their store.  Have you tried their White Chocolate Raspberry Bundtlet?  You haven't???  It's scrumptious, as are all their Bundt varieties... hope you'll visit their store soon! 

Rasmussen Diamonds, Racinefamily owned and operated since 1900, has donated (2) $100 gift certificates [exp. date:  06/18/2023].  If you're the lucky winner of one of these certificates, Rasmussen’s friendly, informative staff invites you to select merchandise from their fine collection of jewelry and gift items. 

Village of Pleasant Prairie RecPLEX has donated a certificate good toward a RecPlex Program or Membership, valued at $50. Some restrictions apply.  

ROC Foundation and the Milwaukee Wave have donated a certificate redeemable for two (2) Preferred Level tickets ($57 value) to a 2022-23 MKE Wave regular season home game.  Milwaukee Wave Soccer... the most electrifying fan experience in MKE sports!

Alisa Ruffolo Taleronik ’82 and Steve Taleronik ’80 have donated a $50 gift certificate [exp. date: 10/31/2022] for their local small business... find their full menu on FB:  Ruffolo’s International FoodsThey make authentic recipes passed down by her family and sell frozen, ready-to-reheat foods your family will love.  Call ahead to preorder.  We hear the ravioli (pictured at left) and noodles are to die for... and we highly recommend the pasties... best in Kenosha! 

Ruffolo's Hair Studio has donated a certificate for a women's shampoo, cut & style with Tina Carranza (exp. date: 08/10/2022; valid for new guest only; limit 1 per guest and not valid with other promotions), along with a Pureology® Canvas Tote Bag and water bottle packed with travel size products (Redken Extreme Play Safe plus two Pureology® Color Fanatic products -- photo coming soon!).  

Salute Italian Restaurant, Racine, locally owned and operated since 1992, has donated a $25 gift certificate [exp. date:  02/04/2023].  Salute's "takes great pride in serving scrumptious homemade Italian dishes.  Our recipes have been handed down through each generation, and our signature Pastas -- Gnocchi, Lasagna and Tortellini -- are handmade with the finest ingredients.  Our friendly staff will treat you like family."  Reservations appreciated. 

Sandy’s Popper – Kenosha’s and Southeast Wisconsin’s headquarters for the finest home-made gourmet popcorn products, hand-scooped ice cream, nostalgic and gourmet sweets and much more – has donated (3) $10 gift cards.  They specialize in fresh caramel and cheese popcorn and dozens of gourmet popcorn varieties… see their multitude of flavors here; all are made in-house in small batches.  Order online or by phone for curbside pick-up or local delivery.  They serve Cedar Crest ice cream – the flagship brand for Wisconsin’s premiere festivals, including Summerfest and the State Fair – in make-to-order cones, sundaes, shakes and malts.  We highly recommend their waffle cones!

Ozzie and Joyce Kopacz Sorensen ’69 have donated a $50 gift certificate for Ruffolo’s International Foods [exp. date: 10/31/2022] When asked what their favorite menu item(s) might be, Joyce said "It's all good, but we especially like the Italian sausage in sauce, either sliced and served over Ruffolo's homemade noodles (yum!), or left whole and served on a bomber bun.   

Sturino's Restaurant, Kenosha has donated a $20 gift certificate... they specialize in favorites from the Calabria region of Italy and "from scratch" pizza baked in a stone pizza oven.  George and Gloria Sturino and their five children operated the restaurant from 1968-1988; their son, Dino, fulfilled a dream of honoring his heritage by bringing his parents' favorite recipes to back Kenosha. Dine in or take out... you'll love their original deep dish pizza and so much more!

Summerfest, AKA the World’s Largest Music Festival, has donated (4) general admission tickets for the event which takes place over three consecutive weekends (Thursday through Saturday, dates as noted at left) from Noon to Midnight.  Their website notes, "We will continue to list more of the music industry’s hottest stars, emerging talent and local favorites to the 2022 Summerfest Lineup as the artists are announced."  As we glanced through the lineup for the American Family Insurance Ampitheater, we found ourselves wanting to score tickets for several artists whose performances we'd love to see! 

Tenuta's Delicatessen has donated a "Shortest Route to Italy" gift basket (estimated value $100-$115), containing the following items:
♦  Gia Russa Artichoke Bruschetta Topping, Tenuta's Italian Style Mild Giardinera and Asturi Bruschettini
♦  La Mole Tortino Sfornatini breadsticks and Dean Jacob's Tuscan Blend Dipping Sauce

Theodore's Hair Design has donated a $40 gift certificate good for services only [exp. date: 12/2022; not redeemable for cash].  Theodore's Hair Design offers high-quality styling services for everyone in the family at affordable prices. We believe that no matter what your age, you can look and feel stylish!  We loved their FB post from April 2020, when all hair salons were closed due to the pandemic... someone at Theodore's has a highly-developed, almost wicked sense of humor!

Tricoli's Birchwood Grill Northwoods Eatery & Bar has donated a gift certificate good for a Free Pizza Party for up to (50) people [exp. date:  03/23/2023; dollar value up to $200, depending upon how many people are in your party].  We were just talking about Birchwood Grill's Friday Night Fish Fry... planning to visit soon!

Randy ’73 and Jan ’74 Vaccaro are donating a Father’s Day Dessert Package [$110 value], which includes:
♦  A two-tiered server with custom-made oak trays that nestle into the metal server;
♦  Five kinds of freshly baked, homemade cookies, as listed below:

Triple Chocolate “Blobs”:  A rich dark-chocolate cookie, featuring toasted walnuts with white chocolate and semisweet chocolate chips;
Cowgirl Cookies:  A chewy oatmeal cookie, with toasted slivered almonds, dried cranberries and white chocolate chips;
Grandma's Million Dollar Cookies:  A delightfully crisp sugar cookie, which will melt in your mouth;

Silent Auction Rules

  1. The KBHSAA Scholarship Fund’s annual Silent Auction is open only to those attending the Cash Bar and/or DAA Banquet.  Bidders must be present at event – no phone-in or online bids will be accepted. 
  2. Bidding opens at 5:00PM and ends at 7:30PM. 
  3. The bid sheet for each item will note the required Starting Bid and Bid Increment; bids that do not meet or exceed the stated requirements will be disqualified. 
  4. Winning bid will be circled on each bid sheet when the auction ends.  
  5. Participants are asked to check the bid sheets to see whether they have winning bid(s) and bring winning bid sheet(s) to registration table.  All items must be paid for in full at the event (cash or check – sorry, no credit or debit cards).
  6. All sales are final; there will be no refunds of any kind.
