IN MEMORY

Carol Eich (Flocker) - Class Of 1948

Carol Flocker, 87, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at The Addison in Pleasant Prairie, surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born in Kenosha on March 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Nicholas Eich and Elizabeth “Elsie” (Micheln) Witt. She attended local schools and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1948.

On November 27, 1948, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard E. Flocker, the love of her life, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2015.

Carol was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She loved her house (feeding the birds and squirrels) and being a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing ceramics. Her love of dolls was evident with her extensive collection of 130 dolls. She enjoyed getting out and visiting with her friends, her sister-in-law, Marie and her cousin, Betty.

She is survived by her two children, Richard (Barbara) Flocker Jr. and Nancy (David) Rosenbalm, both of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Jodi (John) Gray of Stoughton, WI, Richard (Leslie) Flocker III of New London, WI, and Nicholas Flocker of Kenosha; great-grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Flocker, Jake Richard Flocker, and Bryce Domenick Gray; and her grand-cat, Bella Rosenbalm.

Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Eich.

The family would like to thank The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, especially all of the wonderful women in Memory Care West and Hospice Alliance for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Service and interment will be private.
