Primo Tasso - Class Of 1939

Primo Tasso, 96 (pictured at right from the 1939 Spy), of Monroe, formerly of Chicago and Elmwood Park, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Pleasant View Nursing Home.  He was born on July 7, 1921, the son of Felix and Tersilla (Richetto) Tasso in Kenosha, WI.  Primo was a graduate of Kenosha High School and the University of Illinois.  He went on to be a Medical Social Worker for the University of Illinois. Primo enjoyed ballroom dancing, photography and travel, with several trips to Italy and Mexico.

He is survived by his nephew, Richard (Chandra) Speich of Monroe, and great nephew and niece, Jason Speich and Carmen (Mark) Halvorson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dina (Walter) Speich.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery in Kenosha, WI. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.
