Louis H. Larson - Class Of 1950

Louis H. Larson, 81, of Kenosha died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Kenosha Medical Center, following a well fought battle with cancer.

He was born on October 27, 1931, in Kenosha, the son of the late Louis and Ila (Richards) Larson.  He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy, with an honorable discharge, followed by attending Marquette Dental School.  He married Liela Dodge on July 2, 1955, in Kenosha at St. Mark Catholic Church and was a loving husband of 51 years.  He was employed at Eaton Dynamatic for 43 years as a tool and die maker.  His hobbies included motorcycle riding, camping, snowmobiling, and solving the world’s problems with his friends at McDonalds.  Louie was a great example of what it means to be a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his four children, David (Charlene) Larson, Glen  (Carol) Larson, Rena (Scott) Mowry and Mary Larson, all of Kenosha; ten grandchildren, Colleen Larson, Kathy Grunden, Lisa Mowry, Caren Mowry, Adam Larson, Brian Baldwin, Casie Baldwin, Rochelle and Frankie Mastronardi, Michelle Castile and six great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Liela; two brothers, Richard and John Larson; two sisters, Elizabeth Schuerman and Merideth Dorn.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Kenosha Funeral Services, with a Funeral Service to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.  Private burial will be at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
