William Wilberg - Class Of 1945

William R. "Bill" Wilberg of West Bend, age 80, passed away October 11, 2007.  He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Miami and Marquette University and began his career working with American Motors in Aircraft Purchasing and was promoted to Director of Salaried Personnel and Director of Industrial Relations.  In 1967, he was appointed by Governor Warren Knowles to a six-year term with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission.  He then joined Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce as Vice President of Operations for sixteen years, before joining the National Fluid Power Association as Executive Director.  

Bill was also very active in many civic and charitable organizations and his church. Above all, family was always his greatest love.  Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Frandsen) and father of William (Doris), Green Bay, Ralph (Renee), West Bend, and Mark (Kath), Franklin.  He is further survived by grandchildren, Rebekah, William R., William Z., James, Jennifer, Rachel, and Riley; sister, Geraldine Thomas; sister-in-law, Betty Wilberg; other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Earl, Richard and Gene. A

A memorial Service was held on October 16, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David Schoob officiating.
