Anthony Iaquinta - Class Of 1938

Anthony Sam Iaquinta, 86 (pictured at right from the 1938 Spy), of Kenosha, passed away on October 8, 2005, at Hospice Alliance House in Pleasant Prairie.  He was born on November 21, 1918, to the late Leonardo and Domenica (Arabia) Iaquinta in Kenosha, WI.  He graduated from Kenosha High School in 1938. 

On October 12, 1940, he married Mary Natalie Gallo in Kenosha.

He worked first for Vincent McCall and later for 30 years as a millwright for American Motors/Daimler-Chrysler, retiring in March 1981.  His hobby was collecting tools.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 65 years; his son, Leonard P. Iaquinta of Kenosha; his brother, James V. (Shirley) Iaquinta of Kenosha, and three sisters, Angeline (Robert) Spence and Barbara Rankin, both of Kenosha, and Marcia White of Manassas, VA.

Two brothers, Sam and Peter; a sister, Frances; and two siblings in infancy preceded Anthony in death.

Family and friends were invited to gather in memory and honor of Tony Iaquinta on October 15, 2005 at St. George Cemetery Chapel (2909 Sheridan Road, Kenosha).  In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorials to Hospice Alliance, Inc., (10220 Prairie Ridge Road, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158).
